Yes, I really encourage you to give it a go. I'm not sure what it is that helps one get into meditation. But I'd say start slow. Just 3 minutes a day and see where that takes you. It's really good for calming your mind and grounding you.
There is no doubt that meditation is a useful practice and I suspect just about everybody could benefit from it. I've been using Calm for a few years and could be more regular and intentional about my use of it (just like exercising!) but, as you say, always find it a positive and valuable experience.
How often do you meditate and how often would you like to? I'm now averaging a couple of times a week, usually when the cleaner is here because I love meditating to the background noise of her cleaning and shuffling about. It's very soothing.
