Yes! I don't know if you've read Atomic Habits (great book), but one of the arguments the book puts forth is: "You don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems" meaning our habits are the systems in our lives.

I personally need to maximize writing and optimize scrolling. The last 2 weeks I have been scrolling sooo much and it's just so unnecessary, because I'm rarely being productive

Putting greyscale on your phone also does wonders for making scrolling less attractive.

That's a great idea! Though when I saw "greyscale" I thought Game of Thrones and I was wondering why anyone would do that to their phone. 😂 Then I looked it up and got what you meant.

I imagine "less scrolling" is probably on many (if not all) of our to-do lists. It's something that's become so automatic. Whenever I'm tired at the end of the day, I tell myself I want to "rest" for a bit then start scrolling. And the next thing I know an hour has passed and my eyes hurt. Best of luck with your maximising writing and optimising scrolling. Let me know how it goes! :)
