I think it does! Compared to HCMC where there is neither public transport nor pavement. BKK is a lot better. In HCMC you have no option but to drive or take a taxi. In BKK you can take public transport so you can "walk" to your destination. Rickety pavement is still better than no pavement at all.
Does Bangkok *really* have walkability? I find it life-threatening and ankle-twist risking every time I walk.
